Just because the government got ticked off does not mean it can put people in jail. President Mugabe should let them out! They are innocent people. This was in Zimbabwe just because Munyaradzi Gwisai and 44 other people were having a meeting about uprisings in Egypt. They are innocent. Gwisai's son is my friend, and he wants his dad back.

See this article for more information.Ben Saves The Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01013092170712987669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515571801440407945.post-91481250306776277552009-01-24T06:57:00.000-08:002009-01-24T07:18:20.210-08:00Man vs. WildIf you're stranded, well there's this man, he's in a show and I watch it. He shows you many ways to survive if you're stranded. Once when he was in the desert he had a knife and he found a dead camel, he took off the skin and used it for a blanket. So if there was a sandstorm, he would climb in the camel because he took out all the stuff from the camel, so he would use it for shelter.

And he was facing one of the most deadly snakes in the world. He killed it then took the skin off of it and when he was in the desert he pee'd inside of it and had to drink it because there was nothing else in the desert to drink.

And also in one of them he got wood, a little tiny piece of wood and put it in a puddle with a tiny piece of metal on top of it and made a compass.

And also he was in the swamp in one of them and it was hard for him to walk and he said you have to watch where you're going because an alligator can pop out of nowhere because he was in the middle of Florida. There were many trees in the swamp so he got these huge leaves and put them in the tree, he climbed in the tree and slept on top of the leaves. And I think he put the leaves on top for a roof in case it rained.

Also, in one of them there was nothing to drink and he found a big piece of elephant dung and so he got the elephant dung and squeezed the juice out of it to drink.

And also in one of them, he found these Indian guys or something and there was a porcupine hole and they were trying to get the porcupine out of the hole and they were poking a stick and the porcupine was growling. He came out and then they made a bigger hole and it popped out. The man jumped out of the hole for minute and next time when the porcupine jumped out of the hole the man got his knife and cut the head off of the porcupine and ate it. I have no idea how he got the needles out though.

This happened in real life. It's a good show. If you watch it you'll be able to learn how to survive if you're stranded. You can see it here.

Ben Saves The Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01013092170712987669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515571801440407945.post-91218992314072206892009-01-24T06:36:00.000-08:002009-01-24T06:56:46.359-08:00Acupuncture Points<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpj1haT8kT6TDgP0xTqWPayv8bCoFy-B0x1ErGqWU80abcgEPKbdZh729zekVPReFnHltYyUDIh1grHSQFS0ots9b6hT2zWPhkvv22ipGGYTgXgW-K6C8_BVVal6j-mgcisKJZizCi504/s320/GallBladder1.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5294874332475100594" />
These are pictures of acupuncture points. They help you heal. It's a little needle that you stick into you. There's only a drop of pain in the needle. I have had it done 5 times. And it helps a lot. I had it done when I used to throw up a lot and since the treatments I got better. You can get acupuncture at 166 Mountain Ave. My dad does the acupuncture. We also saw a rhinoceros. A giant big turtle. We saw a boa constrictor and his poop. We saw a sign that said "what would you do with ten tons of poo?" This was in Florida at the zoo. It helps save the world to learn about animals. So you know how to take care of them because other people don't take care of animals.

We went kayaking at the zoo. Kayaking is better than driving, not using electricity, just an oar or a paddle. It helps the environment because umm we used organic cream and agave nectar. Not alot of sugar, agave has some, but not alot. Someone read the Great Kapok Tree to me at story time. It's about a guy trying to cut down a tree with a bunch of animals living there. It teaches us to not put pollution in the air, to not cut down trees. To think about where all the animals live. We don't need to build so many factories and we don't need so much stuff. Just enough to buy a house and clothes and food to eat.Ben Saves The Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01013092170712987669noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515571801440407945.post-1643124512255977082008-04-21T08:58:00.000-07:002008-04-21T09:35:51.893-07:00Reusing Bags for the Titi Monkeys
We get five cents off our bill every time we use one of our own shopping bags at Whole Foods. You can buy seeds at Whole Foods. Trees help keep the air clean. Flowers look nice. Bees like them. So do butterflies. It's good to plant as many trees as you can in the rain forest so more animals can have homes.Ben Saves The Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01013092170712987669noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515571801440407945.post-47041323966883851762008-04-14T18:17:00.000-07:002008-04-14T18:19:11.656-07:00Things I DoI recycle bottles, glass, cans, plastic, cardboard
I don't litter
I don't really pick flowers
I reuse bags
I don't step on bugs
I plant things
I write on the back of paperBen Saves The Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01013092170712987669noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515571801440407945.post-57346576569244871962008-04-12T06:09:00.000-07:002008-04-12T06:26:04.497-07:00My trip to the farm
Yesterday, we went to visit Fosterfield's Historical Living Farm. We saw big wild fat pigs, sheep with their new baby lambs, and geese. There were cows, roosters, a cat and giant horses, big and thick. I churned butter in the old-fashioned house. We used a washboard to clean clothes and clips to hang laundry on the line. We pumped water from an old barrel.

My sister found an egg in the chicken coup.

It was great!
Ben Saves The Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01013092170712987669noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6515571801440407945.post-64414719027700952242008-04-12T05:18:00.000-07:002008-04-12T06:09:35.921-07:00I'm just a kidHi, I'm Benjamin. I'm almost 6. I just lost my first tooth and my second one is loose. I'm old enough to help clean the kitchen and help take care of my sisters, so I think I'm old enough to start doing things to help the whole world.

We already do some things at home. Recycling and respecting nature. Going to different places and learning about the world makes us care even more. So I already started saving the world a little. But I'm going to do more. I'm going to try to do something every day. And I'll share it so people can copy me if they want.
Ben Saves The Worldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01013092170712987669noreply@blogger.com1
